OUR TEAM
Suzanne Murray & André Plante
More than 25 years of experience
Our story
Nothing seemed to lead Suzanne & André to become Canadian champions in sport dance. All they were looking for was an activity to do in couple, a reason to find themselves after work.
What if we danced?
They took their first dance steps in all simplicity by joining group courses. Little by little, they took their place in the world of competition and sport dance and worked their way through the highest levels in the amateur division, called
< Open Championship >.
Passionate by dance, they invested a lot of their time and had rigorous trainings. They have been trained by the best coaches in Canada, which brought them numerous times onto the podium.
Here are their track-record as Senior Amateurs:
- 1st position in Canada in 10 dances (2004-2008)
- US Open Championship (2005) and many other podiums in Latin Dance/Standard during competition in USA; Californie, New-York, Miami, Ohio.
- Canadian Amateur Latin Champions (2007 & 2008)
- Quebec Amateur Standard Champions (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014)
- Canadian Amateur Standard Co-Champions (2009, 2011, 2012, 2013)
- Canadian Amateur Standard Champions(2014)
All along their careers, Suzanne & André were also qualified to be Canadian representatives 8 times to the World Championships. It’s with great honour that they represented our country during the world competitions in Italy, Belgium, Finland, Spain, Germany and Canada.
Suzanne & André are a very dynamic duo in life as well as on the dance floor. They united their love and passion for dancing to teach us what they know. So come and learn how to dance with them… Fun, laughter’s and dance guaranteed.

Julie Courchesne
She put on her first dance
shoes at the age of 7!
Born in a family of dancers, she put on her first dance shoes at the age of 7 at Aldor & Andrée Grenier dance school. For 10 years, she trained in latin and ballroom dance. Passionate for every style, she perfected her formation in classic ballet, contemporary and hip-hop. All along her dance years, Julie took place in many competitions, shows, galas, such as Just for Laugh and Revelation Galas. She also participated in national festivities and the movie L’Odyssée d’Alice Tremblay.
Afterwards, Julie moves up the ladder and goes to teach in Vancouver. She develops her own style of teaching. To add a little something to her teaching and to ally her passion of dancing with psychology, Julie goes to university and gets a master’s degree in psychology. Her courses are influenced both by her dance career and her psychology formation.
With her vibrant and lovable personality, Julie will show you that dance is an art that goes over and beyond the steps.
